To achieve and maintain momentum for any goal,

(1) Start by asking yourself these questions.

What is your biggest fear if you do not achieve this goal?

What is your biggest desire that you have for achieving this goal?

What will success in achieving this goal do for you?

What will you do with the extra money that you earn from achieving this goal?

What pain will this goal alleviate?

What joy will it bring me?

These questions will give you clarity of your deepest desire or greatest fear. These two extreme emotions will then propel you to come up with a detailed plan of action that you are passionate about .

(2) Write down this detailed plan as it unfold in your mind .At this inspired moment you do not even know how you are going to achieve the goal but you know when you follow this detailed plan you will. Once you have mapped out your detailed plan with start dates and time.

(3) Move on to taking the actions in the plan. Decide to stay consistent with the small hourly if not daily actions. This Chinese quote says it best, “A journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step. “The second key is then to keep moving the next step in front of the other. On days when you feel tired or unmotivated remind yourself of the fear or the desire of the outcomes

(4) Forth step to building and maintaining your momentum is to always have a WIN WIN plan. What's Important Now (WIN), What's Important Next (WIN) plan. When you plan in advance, you avoid the risk of procrastinating. As you stay on this path, keep reviewing your progress and results and adjust accordingly but do not stop. In conclusion, tap into your emotions (Fear or Desire), have a detailed plan, then take consistent action, and always think WIN WIN. Continue until the desired results are attained. This is how you build and maintain your momentum.
